Q: How many people fit in a Jeep?

A: The 2 door Jeeps are configured in the 2+2 setup, where the rear seat is a jump seat, meaning it is small and only fits smaller sized adults or younger people.  The 4 door Jeeps comfortably fits 4 adults and also has a 5th seatbelt available for younger/smaller person.

Q: Where can I go?

A: You may take our Jeeps on any road within the Crested Butte/Gunnison Valley area with exception of the Devil’s Punch Bowl (Schofield Pass), Taylor Pass, Upper Pearl Pass, Hancock Pass, Lead King Basin, Mt. Antero (278), Iron Chest and Upper/Lower Reno Divide (Italian Creek Road), Poughkeepsie Gulch, Hurricane Pass and Black Bear Pass.

Q: Are you fully insured?

A: Yes we are fully insured both the business and each vehicle we rent.  Per Colorado State Law, driver’s must provide their own full coverage auto insurance as well.

Q: What are your pickup and drop off times?

A: In Crested Butte we have pickup times available at 9am or 9:30am and dropping off by 6pm or 6:30pm.  In Gunnison we have pickup times available at 8am or 10am and dropping off by 5pm or 6pm.  When available we also tailor times based on flights, half days, etc.  For multiday rentals typically one picks up in the morning of the first day and dropping off the evening of the last day, thus keeping it overnight and gaining additional time.  This is great to allow to get an early start, especially for our hikers or allowing more time in the evenings.  We also offer the ability to pick it up the night before, for a small additional fee.

Q: Do you pickup at RV parks?

A: Yes when available we can pickup the customer at a RV park close to town.  Further out RV parks may require a small delivery fee.

Q: What should we bring with us?

A: It is recommended to bring food, water, sunscreen, additional clothing, rain jacket, cell phone and medication.

Q: When is your Crested Butte location open?

A: Our CB location runs from May 25th to October 25th and our Gunnison location is open year round.

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: Yes we do allow pets.  We recommend bringing a blanket to cover the seats with.  We do 30 minutes of interior cleaning which covers 90% of the customers with pets, however a few times per year we do have to charge an additional cleaning fee ranging from $15-40.
