So it seems the beavers have rediverted a large amount of water at the Rustler’s Gulch creek crossing. Currently, we are closing this option until the water levels go down.
June 5th, 2026
Our Crested Butte location is open. Currently our customers are running up to Paradise Divide (top 3 most beautiful places in Colorado.) As for the Washington Gulch road, you can now get to the 403 trailhead, which has an amazing view of the Slate River Valley. In the Gothic Valley (ranked as the #1 spot for wildflowers in the USA) customer’s can now access the 2nd most beautiful spot around, Emerald Lake. Generally speaking, due to a light snow year the trails and flowers are over a month ahead of schedule.
